Here are some pictures of an amazing natural phenomenon, wind created snowballs!
The conditions were absolutely perfect, wet snow and gale force winds.
(20 MPH sustained and 40 MPH gusts!)
I feel extremely privileged to have been able to photograph and examine them first hand.
I hope you all enjoy!

| This is our backyard. The snowballs pictured range from 3 to 10 inches in diameter. |
| This one is almost a foot across! |
| Countless 3-5 inch ones, with giants scattered here and there. |
| Like these. They are about 1 1/2 feet across and a foot in diameter. |
| This one is really big! 16 inches or so in diameter. It came all the way down the hill! |
| From up on top of the Longstretch. It was really weird to be stumbling around in twenty mile-per-hour winds with snowballs rolling around pushed only by the wind. |
| The pasture across from the Farmhouse. |
| THIS ONE IS HUGE!!! almost three feet wide, I'd say. it was probably at least 18 inches across. |
All the snowballs had concave ends, because they started as a very small one and were pushed in just one direction. |
| This one ran into the electric fence, and got thoroughly dismantled. |
| Even the driveway had snowballs all over the place!! |
| The trail this one left is huge! |
| This is the biggest one so far! |
