Winter Ice Storm

Over the weekend we got a large warm front coming through, melting most of our 6 inches of snow and during the latter parts of the day covering everything with freezing rain. Here are some pictures and descriptions . . .

All the grass had at least an eighth of an inch of ice covering it!

It was a little dangerous, because the dirt here looked like it was just wet,
but in reality it was slipperier than the grass!

This is what our driveway was like. These rocks are NOT supposed to be round.
It is crushed slate, and is normally very jagged, but on Sunday morning I could skate
across it in my snow boots, which have a very aggressive tread

This is Grandma + Grandpa's driveway. Same story.
