Worcester Deer Camp: Day one - Forest

There was a lot of this stuff on the conifer trees in a few areas. It seems to be some kind of fungus, and strikingly resembles the southern Spanish Moss. It seemed to grow only on the dead branches.

Some of the terrain that I was hunting in. Thick Hemlock and Balsam patches, and ledges from two to thirty-two feet high, some of which could not be seen until I was almost on the edge.

Uncle Gene coming to join the party.

My own manufactured fog. (I breathed on the cold lens of my camera.)

Close-ups of various things

A little bird.
