Fort Ticonderoga: Waiting outside

They were under-staffed the day we went, all the volunteers who help in the spring

 now heading of to school, so we had to wait a little bit for our extra activity. 

While we were waiting I got a few pictures of the outside of the fort.

This is a view of mount Defiance, a very important mound in the history of the Fort.
We stopped there on the way back from summer camp in mid-July.
We had a great view of the fort, but now we can actually go inside . . .
